welcome to www.dnash.com

sooooo, when i'm not carving fangs
i'm recording tunes, playing gigs
giving interviews, or sleeping.

here are some samples of each.....
 'cept maybe the sleeping part.

audio
i make music so people can enjoy it.   you cannot put a price on that,
so i don't.  enjoy these songs for free, but let me know if you plan  to
cover one.   also, you can always purchase these tracks in cd quality.

2001
    sleeper
i wrote this driving home from manhattan on september 11.   so far this track has been banned by clearchannel radio, and even howard stern is too pussy to play it.  it's just the truth.   what's so scary about a little truth???   oh, on a special note, it's the ONLY song in recorded history that features the united states government on backup vocals.
P.S., IF YOU EVEN DARE TO PRESUME that i am speaking generally about  a specific ethnic or religious demographic, and not about a select few FANATICAL IDIOTS, then you're just as dumb as those particular FANATICAL IDIOTS.

and you need to move to canada.

2000
    sell your soul
this was inspired by that "WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE" voice that goes off in my head every now and again.
    mina
i have a friend named tina who is the most INFURIATING women i've ever met.  she wishes in her hearts of hearts that her name was mina.  christ, talk to the dmv, they can fix that.  till then, this is still for her.

1999
    you can't be
inspired by true internet love.......  you never know who you're speaking to, imming, or even sleeping with.
    no peace

based on h.g. wells' animal farm.

1991
    at the wheel
    photograph
the first two tracks on a fully composed, but still unrecorded concept piece based on the life and death of my high school sweetheart.  p.s., don't drink and drive.   right, mr. kennedy?

1990
    little obsessions
a three stanza piece i did when i was seventeen.  i had some great players help me record this one.  brian gardner on bass, and jeff norberg on guitar.  part I, a nice musical break, part II, falling in love with an actress, and part III, the trials and tribulations of a stripper.  yay.

this was, i believe, my second to last solo show.  my good friends from x-it were kind enough to "open" for us, even though we went on first.  all the equipment?  without a soundcheck.  no f-ing way.  they were much more plug'n play.
thanx to crystal berger for shooting these with her mpeg handy-cam.

images
i've got a few friends with a knack for
photography.  they make me look halfway human.  sorta.
