my good friend Ray Hyrb has been working on "Kickin' Asphalt" as a screenplay for years now, but it looks like he's made some breakthroughs in funding and corporate interest. it looks like this film may just get made after all. the other day, we did a pre production edit of some footage to story board an advertisement spot. the footage was taken from the speed channel, and also includes commercial spot footage images of brad pitt, who at THIS time has only been considered as a hopeful candidate for the leading "baddy" role. this video contains no original images other than the "Kickin Asphalt" logo, and all rights belong to the respective owners.
the MUSIC will be my job in the long run, and the audio track is a rough cut of "born to be wild", a remake that i've been asked to record for the film. i'll also be doing the scoring and recording another "song".
